I used to know that I was in shape when my mid-week, mid-mileage, mid-effort runs were at 7:30 pace. Nowadays I have a great deal of trouble getting to 8:00 pace. Takes a real effort. But I did it today - the ole 11-mile course in 88 minutes. Felt good. And Monday's long run wasn't bad either. Now if I can keep this going.
